  5. This package adds CompuServe mail functionality on Newton
  6. MessagePads running Newton OS 2.0. Requires Newton OS 2.0

  10. This software consists of a self-extracting archive. To use,
  11. download, double-click the downloaded file (this
  12. decompresses it).

  14. This software will decompress into a package or .PKG file.
  15. Use any package installer (for example Newton Backup
  16. Utility) to load the software on your MessagePad. The
  17. software appears a new menu option in your In Box and Out
  18. Box.

  20. Changes in 1.02:

  22. Version 1.02 of CompuServe Mail for Newton 2.0 fixes the
  23. following problems:

  25. 1.  The login process hangs when using access numbers in
  26. Australia and Hong Kong.
  27. 2.  If your mail font is large, you are unable to view the
  28. last part of large messages in the inbox.

  33. To fix the second problem, new text stationery was created.
  34. 1.02 uses version 2 of the Text Stationery package.  Before
  35. installing CompuServe Mail for Newton 2.0, you must delete
  36. the old Text Stationery package in the Extensions folder of
  37. the Extras drawer.
